In the spirit of Christmas, I've been pulling out old CDs and downloading classics over the last week. I was wondering what everyone's fav Christmas tunes are!

My Current favs include:

* Marilyn Monroe - Santa Baby
* Brenda Lee - Rocking Around The Christmas Tree
* Bing Crosby - It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas
* John Williams - Carol of the Bells

If you haven't heard of Santa Baby before, go download it~ It's such a cute Christmas song! What do you guys think? What are your best songs to bring out the Christmas cheer?

I think this is my favourite Christmas song. I can't think of any at the moment.

On the other hand, my little sister's favourite Christmas song is "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays" by Nsync. It drives me insane when she listens to it. :banghead:

I always love to belt out 'Ding Dong Merrily on High'

umm as u can tell, i have no idea what it's called or if they are the right words but i love singing that tune at the top of my lungs esp at xmas lunch!

I also do a sweet remix of it - techno style just to get the xmas spirits flowing hehhe

Yep, marilyn didn't record it. Eartha kitt sang it originally ... but there's another version of 'santa baby' by a woman whose name I forget that sounds just like marilyn (I think so anyway).

It's my favourite christmas pop song :shifty:

That and 'last christmas' by wham :L:

eta - I just googled, and her name is cynthia basinet ... but she really does sound so much like marilyn.

i love

it's beginning to look alot like Christmas....

years of Myer and David Jones ads got it stuck on me so it had become a "putting up the Christmas tree" song.

That, and winter wonderland (never know the words to christmas songs, so i'm stuck with humming)

I love Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas album. Very joyous (Joy ot the World, O Holy Night, Jesus born on this day) and also sad (Miss you most at Christmas time).

I also love the classic carols.

My parents have an old record "Tijuana Christmas" and I love it to bits. I've copied it onto cassette, and it only goes for about 15 minutes (!), but I've replayed it over and over so many times in the last week. I'm such a dag :o
